Entergy keeps the lights on while powering the community through grants and charitable works.  That’s the brand of energy that charged the Greater Port Arthur Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors with selecting Entergy with the February Business of the Month award.

“We’re extremely proud,” Ron Fletcher, community service representative, said. “This is not something you take lightly.”

Paige Snyder, Chamber membership director, thanked employees who gathered at the presentation for keeping area homes and businesses powered and working in extreme weather conditions from storms to hurricanes.

Fletcher reiterated that Entergy runs a “customer-focused business,” and that “Safety is No. 1.”

“We are aware that we are a part of the community,” Fletcher said from the Port Arthur Entergy office.
