Flood waters are rising at a  slower rate. The flood waters are cresting at this time just North Interstate 10, and are anticipated to start receding in the next 12 hours. We are still expecting another 3-6 inches of rising waters south of I-10, this crest is estimated between noon and 6 pm today.

Several people have been evacuated out of flooded areas overnight and early morning. A transportation hub for citizens has opened at Community Christian Church for anyone in need of transportation to the Montagne Center Shelter in Beaumont. Citizens may call 211 or 409-745-9780 and 409-745-9777.
