Titans win Charger Relays

The Port Arthur Memorial Titans boys track keeps rolling through meets in blazing time.
Memorial won the Clear Creek ISD Charger Relays Thursday with 113 points, 33 points ahead of second place Clear Brook.
The Titans 4×100 meter relay team of Marcus Younger, De’Andre Angelle, Kameron Martin and Kary Vincent Jr. took first place with a time of 41.39. The team of Vincent, Angelle, J’Koven Celestine and Martin took first in the 4×200 meter relay with a winning time of 1:26.37.
JaVonta Butler placed third in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 15.27 and Jaquan Francois won the 400-meter dash at 50.22. Micheal Ford was second at 50.56 and Terrance Pitre was fourth at 51.35.
Butler finished second in the 300-meter hurdles as he finished in 40.95.
Pitre, Quantae Conner, Ford and Francois finished second in the 4×400 meter relay at 3:25.5. Celestine was first in the long jump with a leap of 22-4.5 and he also won the triple jump at 46-6.5.
The Nederland boys’ team placed 14th at the meet.
Jace Garrett came in fourth in the 3,200-meter run with a time of 10:24.3 and Carlos Rodriguez finished fifth at 10:26.3.
Alec Torres tied for sixth in the pole vault with a vault of 12-6.
Memorial’s Jamiya Dixon placed fourth in the girl’s triple jump with a leap of 35-7.25.
