CHINA, TEXAS — A senior citizen, who had crawled under his Ford Bronco to repair it, was injured when the vehicle rolled over him Monday morning.

The Bronco became disabled on South China Road near FM 365 around 10:30 a.m., according to information from the Texas Department of Public Safety. The man was trying to repair the Bronco when it rolled over him.

The driver, identified as Charles DeLeon Jr., 70, of China, Texas, was flown by medical helicopter to Christus Hospital-St. Elizabeth in Beaumont. He is listed in stable but guarded condition.
