Lamar lands German standout for golf

BEAUMONT — German Frederike Kutschinski has signed a National Letter of Intent to play golf at Lamar starting in August.

The Hamburg native placed 15th in the 2015 German U18 Championship with a two-round score of 146 and was sixth in the German Schools Championship, qualifying for the German Women’s Championship where she was 34th. Kutschinski also competed on the U18 and women’s national teams and finished eighth in the Hamburg Ladies State Championship.
