Store robbery suspect sought

Port Arthur Police are continuing their search for a man who robbed a convenience store at gunpoint Wednesday night.
Police received a call of the armed robbery around 10:42 p.m. June 8 at Super Stop No. 1, 8196 Ninth Ave.
The clerk told officers that a black male with a cover over his face had entered the store, showed a handgun and demanded money, according to a press release from PAPD.
The suspect was able to get an undetermined amount of cash from the store register and left on foot.
No injuries were reported.
