Olympian Inika McPherson to be showcased at MHS Homecoming Parade today

Olympian Inika McPherson will be the grand marshal of the Memorial High School Homecoming Parade today.

The parade is set for 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12 beginning at the intersection of Stilwell Boulevard and Procter Street and ending at the Jefferson County Sub-courthouse.

McPherson is a 2005 graduate of Memorial High School and competed in the recent Olympics in the high jump.

Memorial High School will host its homecoming week of festivities beginning October 10th and culminating with the homecoming game against Port Neches-Groves on October 14th.
