Local media is reporting one death in a industrial related incident.

The city of Port Arthur issued a press release earlier this afternoon prior to the man’s death.

At approximately 10 am today there was an incident reported at 1050 Hwy 365 in Port Arthur. Port Arthur Fire and Police Department emergency crews responded to the call. Two individuals were reportedly in a tank at the scene. At approximately 11 am rescue crews extracted the first individual from the tank. He was transported via ambulance to the Southeast Texas Medical Center. Crews are currently working to extract the second individual from the tank at the time of this release.

No other injuries have been reported in relation to this incident at this time.
