MEMORIAL GIRLS BLANK CHANNELVIEW

CHANNELVIEW — The Port Arthur Memorial Titans girls soccer team started its season Monday in grand fashion against an old rival.
Memorial took down Channelview 3-0 behind two goals and an assist from Yudith Vanda. Grettel Vazquez had a goal and an assist.
Coach Phil Mattingly said the Titans’ defense played an outstanding match.
Memorial participates in the Port Neches-Groves Tournament starting Thursday.
