Ten high school marching bands from acorss Texas and Louisiana competed in the third annual Battle of the Bands on Saturday at Memorial High Stadium in Port Arthur. Some local schools were Ozen and Central High Schools from Beaumont and Memorial High School from Port Arthur though they did not compete and only performed an exhibition. Texas Southern University's Ocean of Soul was the special guest at the event.
