James W. Jones III “Champ Joe”, 26 years old, of Port Arthur passed away on January 17, 2017. He was a lifelong resident of Port Arthur and a 2008 graduate of Memorial High School. He was a member of First Christian Faith.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather James W. Jones, Sr. and grandmother Camellia Fairley Tanksley.

James is survived by his loving parents, James W Jones II and Rosemary Jones of Port Arthur, TX. He leaves to cherish him always and forever his companion Ebony Brooks, James (Lil James) Ward and Jada Ward of Port Arthur, TX; grandparents, Cleo Tanksley of Port Arthur, TX and Marie Brooks of Spring, TX.; one brother Jaylon Jones of Port Arthur, TX; four sisters Cierra (Alex) Jones, Taylor Jones, Chanel Jones and Chloe Jones all of Port Arthur, TX, and a host of other devoted family and friends.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am Saturday, January 28, 2017 at Triumph Church-Nederland Campus with visitation from 9:00 am until service time. Burial will follow in Live Oak Memorial Park under the direction of Gabriel Funeral Home.
