It was a case of no quorum, no meeting for the Port Arthur City Council.

The regular meeting was scheduled for 8:30 a.m. for Tuesday, but half of the council was attending a National League of Cities conference, Mayor Derrick Freeman was in Austin and some were traveling for Spring Break.

Mayor Pro Tem Raymond Scott Jr. and District 3 Councilman Morris Albright III were present for the meeting.

The meeting is rescheduled for March 28.
