Terry Wayne Bryant, 60, passed away Sunday, April 23, 2017 following an unexpected illness.  Terry was born December 23, 1956 in Port Arthur Texas.  He attended Thomas Jefferson High School and later enlisted in the U.S. Army.  He went on to live his life as a truck driver, which was very fitting for his personality.

He is survived by three children, Demetria (Bryant) Mourning, Terry Bryant, Jr. and Terrence Hardin; parents, Thomas R. Bryant (Francis) and Linnie Bryant; five siblings Rosiland Dorsey, Thomas Bryant, Jr., Hubert Bryant, Gayle Bryant, and Armando Bryant; a loving companion of 18 years, Joyce Brown.

He also leaves behind six grandchildren in addition to 21 stepchildren and grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, May 6, 2017 at Gabriel Funeral Home Chapel with visitation from 12 noon until service time.  Burial will follow in Live Oak Cemetery under the direction of Gabriel Funeral Home.
