Barbara Sue “Budgie” Holmes, 77, of Nederland, passed away Saturday, May 6, 2017 at her residence. Barbara was born September 22, 1939 to the late John M. Benson and Edna Yaekle Benson.

A Memorial service celebrating Barbara’s life will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday evening, May 12, 2017 at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland with Rev. John Morgan officiating the service.
