Marcell Prevost

Marcell Prevost, of Port Arthur, died Thursday April 27, 2017 at East Houston Regional Medical Center. A native of Franklin, LA, he was a resident of Port Arthur for 55 years and was the owner of a trucking company and a mechanic shop called “Prevost Pit Stop”.

Visitation is scheduled from 9am until 11am and funeral service is at 11am immediately following at Eastern Star Baptist Church with Pastor Kenneth Green of Berea Church, Baytown, TX officiating Saturday May 13, 2017. Burial will follow Live Oak Cemetery under the direction of Gabriel Funeral Home.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Althea Green (Kenneth), of Houston, TX and DeAndrea Sullivan (Wayne), of Chino Hills, CA; Five grandchildren, Kenneth Green, Jr., Jonathan Marcell Green, Amy Green, Deborah Green and Loren Lenora Sullivan, two sisters – Clara Johnson and Mable Trepagnier, three brothers – Joseph Prevost, Murphy Prevost, and Gustave Prevost, and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.  He is preceded in death by one brother, Horace Prevost.
