Port Arthur Police have identified a person of interest in a shooting that injured two juveniles on Friday.

Officers responded to the drive-by shooting at the apartments, 901 Main Ave., around 11 p.m. July 7 where the two juveniles were struck. They were treated and released from a hospital, Risa Carpenter, public information officers for the City of Port Arthur, said.

Officials do not know if the shooting is related to a call of shots fired at Prince Hall Apartments in the 900 block of West 14^th Street on July 3. When officers arrived at Prince Hall Apartment complex they found a man who told them he accidently shot himself in the leg. PAPD is also investigating, during this particular call, an incident where more than 20 rounds were fired in the complex.
