Jaryd “Ginger” Arledge

Jaryd “Ginger” Arledge, 22, of Port Acres, died Wednesday, July 12, 2017. He was born on January 17, 1995, in Beaumont, to Melissa Ann Arledge and Scott Alan Williams.
Jaryd was a 2013 graduate of Sabine Pass High School. He was very active in all sports and UIL events. Jaryd enjoyed hunting and fishing. He will be remembered as a guy that always lit up a room with his smile and fun-loving personality.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Melissa Grogan and her husband, Jerome, of Groves; Nau-Na and Paw-Paw, Keren and Gerald Arledge of Port Acres; grandparents, Linda and Clarke DuBose of Nederland; great-grandmother, Betty Trahan of Port Neches; godmother, Faith Berube of Port Acres; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Scott Williams.
A gathering of Jaryd’s family and friends will begin at 2:00 p.m., with his memorial service to follow at 5:00 p.m., Sunday, July 16, 2017, at New Covenant Church, 2601 Highway 73, Port Acres, under the direction of Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. His cremation arrangements were handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
