Louis Hoil LeDoux

Louis Hoil LeDoux, 94, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at his home.

He was born on October 27, 1922 to his parents, Horace Paul LeDoux and Blanche Sarver LeDoux in Orange, Texas. Louis served in the U. S. Army and landed in Normandy during World War II. He lived most of his life in the area. Louis retired from Texaco as an operator after 38 years of service. He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, where he served as an usher.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his four sisters and three brothers, his daughter, Nancy Louise LeDoux Bossley, his two sons, Louis LeDoux, Jr. and Mark David LeDoux.

Louis is survived by his loving wife of 75 years, Lucille Rita LeDoux of Port Arthur, his two daughters, Linda Ann McElroy and husband, Larry of Spring, Texas, Judy Manuel and husband, Carol Wayne of Groves, ten grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren. He is also survived by his two sisters, Helen Riffe of Buna and Pauline Ray of Orange along with several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Friday, August 18, 2017 from 5:00 PM till 8:00 PM with a rosary to be prayed at 6:00 PM at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves. Service to honor Louis’s life will be at 9:30 AM Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Clayton Thompson. Burial with Full Military Honors will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
