LSCPA, LU announce Strikeout Cancer game

Lamar State College Port Arthur will take on Lamar University in their annual Strikeout Cancer Game on Oct. 28 at 2 p.m.
That game is part of the fall softball schedule LU released Friday.
Lamar will host San Jacinto College at 5 p.m. Sept. 29, Galveston College at 5 p.m. Oct. 20 and then Lamar State. The Cardinals also will host the JUCO Showcase, a four-team event that will feature a trio of teams including the top junior college prospects in Texas, on Nov. 4.
Lamar will visit LSU for 7 p.m. Oct. 11 game and play two games in the SK College Classic in Cypress on Oct. 14. The San Jac, Galveston and LSU games are scheduled for 10 innings each.
Admission to all home games is free.
