Natalie “Nat” Howard

Mrs. Natalie “Nat” Howard (81) of Port Arthur departed this life & walked into the embrace of her Father on October 16, 2017. She was born in Palmetto, LA & moved to Port Arthur at a very young age. She accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior early in life. She was a longtime faithful member of Thomas Blvd Church of Christ.

Preceeded in death by her husband L.G. Howard, one son Peter Howard and one grandson Josh Howard.

Those left to cherish her memories are: two sons Dennis (Rochelle) Howard, Joseph (Evelynn) Howard of Port Arthur; three daughters Juliette LeBlanc of Port Arthur, Leslie (Travis) McCalister of Mansfield, Nicole (Timothy) Curette of Houston; three brothers; Earl (Dorothy) Edwards, Willard Jones of IL, Lucius Davis of Port Arthur; five sisters; Thelma Southworth, Gloria (Obdie) Hammond, Martha Edwards of IL, Gloria (Glenn) Dennis, and Yvette (Shane) Sinegal; and a host grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 11am Saturday October 28, 2017 at Thomas Blvd Church of Christ, 2948 Thomas Blvd, Port Arthur, TX 77642 with visitation from 9am until service. Burial will follow in Live Oak Cemetery under the direction of Gabriel Funeral Home.
