Final debris pick up coming soon

The city of Port Arthur announces that Port Arthur Harvey debris contractors will make a final round through the City beginning Nov. 29. Residents are urged to place all Harvey debris at the right-of-way for pick up prior to that date.
Residents are reminded that contractors working for the city will not collect new construction material. Remaining loads after the final pass is completed will be the obligation of the homeowner. City debris contractors are also unable to collect household hazardous waste or vegetation. Citizens at this time may make use of the Port Arthur Landfill free of charge with proof of Port Arthur residency. This includes a water bill or drivers license.
The final passes for each are of the city are:
Dominion Ranch – Greenhill Park pick-up will begin on Nov. 29.
Stonegate – Royal Meadows – Fairway Estates – Lake Arthur pick-up will begin on Nov 30.
El Vista & Vista Village Area pick-up will begin on Dec. 1.
Port Acres – Montrose Area pick-up will begin on Dec. 2.
Griffing Park – Park Place – Pear Ridge pick-up will begin on Dec. 3.
Old Port Arthur – West Side pick-up will begin on Dec. 4.
Lakeview -Foster Estates – Fairlea – Highland Heights pick-up will begin on Dec. 9.
