A Port Arthur institution is reopening.

The Boudain Hut at 5714 Gulfway Drive has been closed since Tropical Storm Harvey. But now they’re having a soft opening at 4 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 8. Only the bar will be open. The kitchen will open again soon.

The Recycles will be playing.

A grand opening is scheduled for Friday, Dec. 22 with The Cadillacs playing from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.

Karaoke will start again at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 12.
