Bowlers in the Thursday night Energy Country Ford/Allstate League posted the majority of this week’s top scores. First Eric Manthei shot another 300 on his way to a 745. Moving on RaeAnna Todora led all the women bowlers this week as she shot games of 246, 192 and 246 for a nice 684. Daryl Hughes absolutely torched the lanes Thursday night with games of 276, 232 and 277 on his way to a 785 series.

Monday night’s Valero League produced this weeks top senior bowlers. The ever present Alice Barnes led the senior women with games of 167, 198 and 191 for a 556 series. Kirwin Melo tamed the lanes with games of 199, 267 and 195 for a 661 set.

Finally Saturday mornings Stars of Tomorrow had Brandon Bertrand leading the youth this week. Brandon shot games of 214, 192 and 185 for a 591 series.

Mardi Gras was wet this year but Krewe El Bowlo seemed to have fun as always. This columnist wants to find out how can you get in the Krewe. They have a good time regardless of the weather.

I’m also asking for prayers from every bowler for long time bowler Kara Theriot. Kara is fighting a terrible illness and all prayers are appreciated for her comfort and for her family. We love you Kara.
