Craig R. Flanagan

Craig R. Flanagan transitioned to his heavenly life, June 16th, 2018 at Mid-Jefferson Extended Care Facility. “Pap Pap” was a native and resident of Port Arthur, TX. He was a devoted son, brother, uncle, nephew and friend. First, he attended The Historic Israel Chapel A.M.E. Church (Rev. Theodore Mays) and later he started attending Rock Island Missionary Baptist Church as an active member until his passing. Craig started school at the early age of 5, and attended various others where he ended at Regional State Center.

He is preceeded in death by his father Thomas Flanagan; (paternal) grandparents Thomas & Jessie Flanagan; (maternal) grandparents Thomas & Bessie Kinlaw; (nephews) Tremaine Flanagan & Theophilus Trainer and numerous aunts & uncles.

He is survived by his (mother) Willie B. Flanagan; 12 Sisters & Brothers; Thomas Flanagan (Gloria), Octavia Reed-Jones (Joe), Bernard Flanagan (Brenda), Linda Staley (Eugene), D’drena Williams (Michael), Latrice Navey, Madelyn Flanagan, Jay Flanagan, Monica Flanagan, Dexter Flanagan, Sharon Flanagan & Shalia Flanagan; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Rock Island Missionary Baptist Church with visitation from 12 noon until service time.  Rev. Kevin Domingo will officiate.  Burial will follow in Live Oak Cemetery.
