A Port Arthur woman was shot multiple times, reportedly by her estranged boyfriend, shortly after midnight Thursday.

The shooting happened in the 2400 block of Julian Drive, according to a press release from the Port Arthur Police Department.

The victim was transported to St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont with serious injuries.

PAPD’s Criminal Investigations Division is handling the case.
