Corey Dauphine of Port Arthur made eight carries for 31 yards and helped Tulane defeat Louisiana 41-24 on Saturday in the AutoNation Cure Bowl in Orlando, Florida.

The 2015 Memorial graduate finished the season with 785 yards and even touchdowns on 124 carries in his first season of action since transferring from Texas Tech.

Louisiana pulled within 27-24 with 10:16 left in the game, but two touchdown runs afterward helped the Green Wave put the game away. Tulane has won three of its last four bowl appearances and played in the postseason for the first time since losing the 2013 New Orleans bowl to Louisiana.
