2 juveniles held in Lamar Port Arthur burglary

Two juveniles who broke into the Barnes & Noble on the Lamar State College Port Arthur campus Monday may have heard these familiar words: Book ‘em.
The burglary occurred before sunrise at 1515 Lakeshore Drive; police responded to a 5:56 a.m. alarm.
Officers saw signs of forced entry to the business and investigation revealed property was taken from inside, a news release said. Two juveniles, both from Port Arthur, were found in the area.
The juveniles were transported to Minnie Rogers Juvenile Justice Center on charges of burglary of a building.
