Dakota Dawn Scoggins, 26, of Maysville, Oklahoma passed away on December 31, 2018. She was born on August 31, 1992 in Nederland, Texas to Rick Stephenson and Gloria Stephenson.

She graduated from Ridgewood Christian School in Port Arthur, Texas in 2010. She worked at Norman Regional Hospital as a CNA. She is loved by everyone. She was a great mother, daughter, sister, granddaughter, and friend.

She is preceded in death by her grandfathers, Jack P. Stephenson, and Robert Guzman Sr.; uncle, Robert Guzman Jr.; grandparents, Judy and Bill Darnell; and brother, Anthony Simon.

Dakota is survived by her husband, Nick Scoggins; children, Phoenix Scoggins, and Hunter “Issy girl” Scoggins; parents, Rick (Paula) Stephenson and Gloria (Randy) Smith; mother-in-law, Marshelle (Shane) Hunter; father-in-law, Joseph Scoggins; siblings, Brittani (Scott) Maier, Delorean (Ryan) Stephenson, Taylor Stephenson, Victoria Smith, Samantha Teasdale, Mandy (John) Hamling, Candace Smith, and Kaleb Smith; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

A memorial service will be Friday, January 4, 2019 at 11:00AM with visitation one-hour prior at Bishop-Crites Funeral Home with Brother Keith Hicks officiating.
