Houston Texans wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins on Thursday tweeted that he would donate his check from Saturday’s playoff game against the Indianapolis Colts to help cover funeral expenses for the family of a slain 7-year-old girl.

Jazmine Barnes was killed in a drive-by shooting at a Houston Walmart on Sunday morning. The suspect has not been found, but authorities Monday released an image of a truck sought in connection to her death.

“When I see Jazmine Barnes’ face, I see my own daughter,” Hopkins said in the tweet. “I’m pledging my playoff check this week to help her family with funeral costs and to support @shaunking [New York activist Shaun King] @SheriffED_HCSO [Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez] @SylvesterTurner [Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner] in bringing this man to justice. On Saturday, I will be playing in your honor, Jazmine.”

KPRC-TV of Houston, citing sources close to Jazmine’s family, reported basketball great Shaquille O’Neal and Houston Police Ofc. Kenneth Miles have also donated to the funeral expenses.

A reward for turning in the person who shot Jazmine is up to $100,000, thanks to a donation from King, according to KPRC. The suspect has been described as a bearded white man possibly in his 40s wearing a red-hooded sweatshirt and last seen driving a four-door red pickup.
