Virgil Ned, 63, was born on February 8, 1955 to Earline Ned and Roosevelt Ned, Sr. in Lafayette, LA.  She departed this life on Tuesday, December 18, 2018.

Virgil is preceded in death by both parents.  She leaves to cherish her memories a daughter, Quan Ned (Shawn); step-daughter Marie Troy; sisters Vernell Windon, Roshoundra Ned; brothers, Joseph Ned, Jr. (Christe) and Nathan Hawkins (Tiffiney); seven grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and close friends.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Gabriel Funeral Home Chapel, 2500 Procter Street, Port Arthur, TX with visitation from 12 noon until service time.  Pastor Cloyde Kimble will officiate.  Burial will follow in Live Oak Cemetery.
