Johnnis Marrie Babino Rubin of Port Arthur, TX departed her earthly life on January 2, 2019.  She was a native of Beaumont, TX and resided in Port Arthur for many years.  Johnnis was a home-maker and a lover of fine antiques and antique furniture.  As a child, she attended Our Mother of Mercy Church in Beaumont, TX and as an adult she attended Church on the Rock.  Johnnis spent her last days as a member of the nutrition program for senior citizens.  There she enjoyed the company of good friends and wholesome meals.

Johnnis leaves to cherish her life, her love and precious memories with her three sons, Ronald of Beaumont, TX, Andre (Myla) of Houston, TX and Chan (Mondai) of Port Arthur, TX; 18 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; one brother, Darrell Babino of Port Arthur, TX; one niece, Daphne Babino of New Orleans, LA; one nephew, Chad Babino of Port Arthur, TX; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, January 17, 2019 at Church on the Rock, 6355 Hwy. 69 Access Road, Beaumont, TX with visitation from 9 a.m. until service time.  Burial will follow in Live Oak Cemetery.
