Emma Thornton of Los Angeles, CA died peacefully on February 6, 2019 in Beaumont, TX at the age of 90.  A native of Port Arthur, TX for 50 years and Los Angeles, CA for the last 40 years, she was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Port Arthur, TX and Transfiguration in Los Angeles.

Memorial Service is scheduled for 2 p.m.  Saturday, February 9, 2019 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Anthony Afanfide officiating.  Burial will be at Riverside Military Cemetery in Riverside CA.

Survivors include: her children, Carolyn (Earl) Durham of Houston, TX, Beverly Briscoe of Antioch, CA, Maryann Briscoe, Stephen (Jane) Briscoe, Michael (Janice) Briscoe, Linda Rougeaux, all of Port Arthur, TX; brother Columbus J. Como, Dallas, TX, Gerald Como, Donald Como, Port Arthur, TX, Glenn Como, Savannah GA, Sue Como, Dallas, TX, Noah Como, St Louis, MO; 14 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
