Ms. Sharon Ann “Chicken” Greenwade, of Port Arthur, Texas departed this life at 68 yrs. young on Tuesday January 29, 2019 at Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, Texas.  Sharon was born in Taylor, Texas and became a longtime resident of Port Arthur Texas for 20 years.

Visitation is scheduled for Saturday, February 9, 2019  from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.  with funeral services following at 11 a.m. at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Jamal Stidam officiating.  Burial will follow in Live Oak Cemetery.

She leaves to cherish her memories three daughters Virginia Stidam (Jamal) of Baytown, Texas, Tammy Joseph (London) of Moore, Texas, Laquinta Gilliam (Damon) of Port Arthur, Texas; one son Robert Haley of Hayward, California; 13 grandchildren, 12 great- grandchildren; two sisters, Marva Mercer-Butler of  Memphis, Tennessee, Connie Brooks of Roundrock, Texas; two brothers, Edwin Sampson (Marilyn) of DeSoto, Texas and Arlen Mercer (Terry) of San Antonio, Texas and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
