A resident of Port Arthur, Ronnie Maurice Haliburton, Sr. age 74, passed away Friday, February 8, 2019. As his soul lifted on angels’ wings to be with our Heavenly Father, his encouraging personality will remain forever in our hearts.

Ronnie truly valued education, earning multiple degrees and certifications from various academic institutions. A Vietnam War Veteran, he served in the United States Army (1968-1971) as an Operating Room Technician.

Ronnie Haliburton, Sr. was preceded in death by his parents Veo and Leverda Hobby Haliburton; brother, Arthur Earvin Haliburton.  He leaves to cherish his memory, a devoted wife, Wilma Haliburton; son, Ronnie Maurice Haliburton, Jr. of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; daughter, Paula Waller of China Spring, Texas; sister, Diane Milstead (Dreyfus) of Lincoln, California; four granddaughters, Chantae’, Lauren, and Rohnny Haliburton of Baton Rouge, and Jordan Haliburton of  China Spring; brother-in-law; Arthur Edwards, San Antonio, along with a host of many loving relatives, beloved extended family and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, February 18, 2019 at 10:00 AM, St. James Catholic Church, 3617 Gulfway Drive, Port Arthur. Visitation will be from 8:00 AM until 9:30 AM at the Church with Rosary at 9:30AM. Burial will follow at Johnson Memorial Cemetery.
