Melvina Moore, 54, of Port Arthur, TX passed away Sunday, March 3, 2019.  A native of Morgan City, LA, she was a longtime resident of Port Arthur and a 1983 graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School.  Melvina was a member of Chosen Generation Evangelistic Ministry.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Lillian Moore-Johnson and Wilbert Johnson and a sister, Sharell Johnson.

She leaves behind to cherish her sweet memories, two daughters Tykirah and Taisha Moore; three sisters, Patricia Knight (Harold), Juanita Moore (James) and Jessie Birdlow (Louis); seven brothers, Wilbert Jr., Troy, Mark, Wilbert Lee, Wilbert III and Terrell Johnson and Wilbert Holmes; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 16, 2019 at Cathedral of Praise Miracle Center, 2580 East Lucas, Beaumont, TX with visitation from 9 a.m. until service time.  Burial will follow in Live Oak Cemetery.
