BASEBALL: Dogs’, Indians’ series changed

Both Nederland’s and Port Neches-Groves best-of-three 5A area round baseball series at The Ballparks in Crosby have been rescheduled in order to beat the inclement weather that has ravaged the Houston area.
Nederland and Angleton will square off with a doubleheader starting at 1 p.m. Friday. If a third game is necessary, it will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday.
PNG will take on Shadow Creek with a doubleheader beginning at 10 a.m. Friday. If Game 3 is necessary, that will be played at 1 p.m. Saturday.
The winners of those series will square off in the 5A Region III quarterfinal round.
