Pedestrian killed on I-10 in Orange County

A pedestrian was killed Thursday after he was struck by several vehicles on Interstate 10 in Orange County.
The Texas Department of Public Safety said in an issued statement that Napoleon Braxton, 44, of Houston was walking westbound in the inside lane of I-10 near Mile Marker 867 around 9 p.m. when he was struck by an unknown vehicle, then several additional vehicles that followed. Police are seeking the ID of the driver of the first vehicle who hit the victim.
An Orange County justice of the peace pronounced Braxton dead at the scene.
This crash remained under investigation Friday.
