Blanch Jordan

Blanch Jordan, 89, of Groves, Texas passed away Saturday, September 21, 2019 at Oak Grove Nursing Home.

She was born December 12, 1929 in Elvins, Missouri to Charlie Leonard and Luedona Blaylock Leonard.

Blanch had lived in the Port Arthur/Groves area for over 60 years and was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. She was retired from Port Neches High School as a cafeteria worker.

A visitation for family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves with funeral services at 2:00 p.m. Dr. Phil Sigman and Mr. Harold Lawson will be officiating.

Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.

Blanch was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Jordan, son, Everett Lee Jordan and a grandson, Kevin Jordan.

She is survived by four daughters, Charlene Akers and husband Greg of DeQuincy, LA, Colleen Ellis of Groves, TX, Cathleen Frasier of Groves, TX and Claudine Clark and husband Roger of Kountze, TX, three sons, Robert E. Jordan, Jr. of Beaumont, TX., Donald E. Jordan of Groves, TX, and Alan D. Jordan of Port Arthur, TX, sister, Shirley Copeland of Farmington, MO. and many, many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In Celebration of Blanch’s life well lived, everyone is requested to wear purple in her honor.
