Odelia Shuff-LeBlanc, 89, of Huntsville, Texas and former resident of Groves passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2019, at Huntsville Memorial Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on October 10, 1929, to her parents, Thomas and Euta Guillory in Plaucheville, Louisiana.

Odelia has been a resident of the Groves area since 1946 before moving to Huntsville, TX.

She retired as a cafeteria worker for Port Arthur Independent School District after 24 ½ years of service. Odelia was a member of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Groves.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Marcille Wolf, her first husband, Nelson Shuff, her second husband, Ray LeBlanc, her granddaughter, Jessica Luther, grandson, Neil LeBlanc, daughter-in-law, Becky Lathrop, and grandson, Nick Lathrop.

Odelia is survived by her three daughters, Sheila Luther and husband, Ron of Mesick, MI, Phyllis Disegna and husband, Art of Onalaska, TX., Carleen McIlvain and husband, Scott of Onalaska, TX., her son, Tommy
Shuff of Woodville, TX., 5 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Visitation will be on Sunday, October 6, 2019, from 5:00 PM till 8:00 PM with a rosary to be prayed at 6:00 PM at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves.

Service to honor Odelia’s life will be at 11:00 AM Monday, October 7, 2019, in the Thompson Memorial Chapel at Clayton Thompson.

Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.

The family is not gathering anywhere after the funeral, because they all live out of town and will be traveling back home immediately.
