A Port Arthur gas station was robbed at gunpoint Monday morning, police said, adding the suspect remains at large.
Port Arthur Police Department officers responded to the 2549 Memorial Blvd. Shell gas station at approximately 5:03 a.m.
Officers said a male wearing all black and a mask entered the business with a weapon and threatened the clerk, demanding money.
“An undetermined amount of cash was taken, and the suspect fled on foot from the business,” Sgt. Tim Dinger said.
PAPD’s Criminal Investigations Division is leading the investigation.
