The city reminds anyone experiencing fever, cough or shortness of breath; concerned he or she has come in close contact with a confirmed COVID-19 patient; or has a history of travel from affected geographic areas within 14 days of symptom onset to call the six-county COVID-19 hotline at 409-550-2536.

Those who are concerned are asked to call first so nurses may evaluate risk and determine if a visit is needed so other patients will not be put at risk.
