Two powerful passages from the Word

“…Consider what you hear.” Mark 4:24 – Jesus exhorted a large group of people beside a lake, from a boat, about how the sower sows the Word and what happens to the Word on various types of ground (our hearts). The Word of God is a seed.

The Word seeds “along the path” get stolen, immediately if we let them, the ones on “stony ground” (no root) fall away if we are easily offended, and the ones “among the thorns” are choked with anxieties, distractions or pleasures of the world, causing fruitlessness. But those who have good ground (hearts) hear the good Word seeds and bear much fruit!

I feel like a “sower” for Him today as I sow these two passages from His Scriptures, hoping that you will receive and be encouraged. This storm WILL pass. Amen.

“Blessed is the man (woman) who walks and lives NOT in the counsel of the ungodly nor stands in the path where sinners walk, nor sits down where the scorners (mockers) gather, but his delight is in the law of the Lord and on His law he habitually meditates (ponders and studies) by day and by night. And, he shall be like a tree planted by streams of water, its leaf shall not fade or wither and everything he does shall prosper.” Psalm 1: 1-3 (Amplified Bible)

I pray our world is disease-free, peaceful and compassionate with clear minds and bodies allowing God to heal and continue to add to His Kingdom all men and women.
