Maximum heat index will range from 105 to 112 degrees today through next Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service.

Warning Coordination Meteorologist Roger Erickson said heat advisories will likely be in place during this time frame.

The criteria for heat advisories are indexes of 108F or more.

Small rain chances don’t return until late next week.
