LABELLE — Labelle Foam Solutions is offering free cleaning for businesses amidst the coronavirus pandemic.

Owner Miguel Lerma said they’ve set a limited supply of cleaning solution aside to offer free services to business that need it most.

“We want to help fight this pandemic so we can all try to get back to normal as soon as we can,” he said. “We are providing this service free of charge.”

Lerma said the solution is what his adjoining business, Silvia’s Tacos, uses to disinfect and sanitize its location.

The liquid solution kills more than 180 types of viruses, including the human coronavirus, Lerma said.

“We have used up a lot of the limited supply, but any business that wants a service or to give it a try can give us a call,” Lerma said.

The service is open to any businesses within Southeast Texas.

“The hard times that we are in right now, it’s important that we help out each other out as much as we can,” Lerma said. ‘This is one way we thought we could help make this ordeal that everybody is in a little easier.”

Services are available for use in office buildings, warehouses, restaurants, kitchens and any ventilated area.

The cleaning solution is an EPA-registered spray-solution disinfect. The solution clings to all services within ten minutes of release.

Lerma said his company has done six businesses so far.

“They’ve all been very grateful,” he said. “To me, it’s also a reward. By nature, I like to help, and if this is something I can do for our community, I’m all for it. If one business shuts down it becomes a domino effect, so the more businesses we keep open, the better it is for the Southeast Texas economy and its small businesses.”

Lerma said there is enough solution to do seven to eight more businesses at roughly 1,000 square feet each.

“I wanted to do something good, so we thought why not?” he said. “With everything going on right now it’s important that we take the necessary precautions to fight this virus.”

Labelle Foam Solutions specializes in spray foam insulation on metal, residential and commercial buildings.

Lerma started the business in February.

“I had already been working for someone else doing the same thing, but I decided to branch out on my own,” Lerma said. “I added the disinfecting service when the coronavirus started to become a serious threat.”
