Port Neches-Groves tops Nederland in softball battle for seeding

PORT NECHES — The Port Neches-Groves and Nederland softball teams battled for the third seed in District 21-5A Monday.
PNG came out on top with a 9-4 win over rival Nederland at PNG High School.
Nederland will be the fourth seed in the upcoming playoffs.
Both teams will solidify first-round playoff details later this week.
