Members of the Quasquincentennial Steering Committee accept a proclamation from Mayor Thurman Bartie this wee deeming 2023 Quasquicentennial Year.
Greater Port Arthur Chamber of Commerce President/CEO Pat Avery also presented the mayor with a proclamation honoring Port Arthur from the office of Gov. Greg Abbott.
The committee also presented the City Council with a proclamation from the Jefferson County Commissioners Court.
