On May 19, 1944 a daughter was born within the union of her beloved parents Earnest Chester Mayfield, Jr. and Mildred Linton-Mayfield in Oakland, California.

As a young child Patricia accepted Jesus Christ at an early age while attending McCabe Methodist, and was a 1962 graduate of Beaumont Charlton-Pollard High School in Beaumont, Texas.

Mrs. Pat as she was affectionately known as was a free spirit who loved her family, friends, and the sweet melodies of music in which she enjoyed dancing to.

Patricia returned to be with the Lord on December 27, 2023 with her loved ones by her side in Houston, Texas.

She leaves to mourn her passing 2 daughters Valencia Millsaps (Micah) and Keisha Brown; 4 grandsons Jermorin Williams (Zeynep), Kevondre Johnson (Brittany), Micah McQuillion, and Korleone Comeaux ; grand daughter Khloe Briscoe; 2 great grandsons Kam and Kye Johnson; 2 great grand daughters Zoey Becker-Williams and Bailey Johnson and a special niece Kimberly Watson.

Funeral services will be held 11 am Friday, January 19rh, 2024 at Empowerment Church, 3600 Memorial Blvd, Port Arthur, Texas with visitation from 9 am until 11 am.

Burial will follow at Live Oak Cemetery.
