Heavy rainfall, some severe storms expected Sunday and Monday

Conditions continue to look increasingly favorable, according to the National Weather Service, for heavy rainfall, as well as possibly some severe storms, Sunday into Monday.
In the meantime, strong and gusty southerly winds continue to pose hazardous conditions, as well as an increased risk for coastal flooding into Sunday.
A strong pressure gradient will result in sustained winds: 25 – 30 mph and wind gusts: 35 to 40 mph.
Flooding could impact lots, parks and roads.
Isolated road closures expected.
Actual tide levels to reach 1.75 to 2.5 feet above mean higher high water during the times of high tide.
Occurring mainly during the times of high tide from daybreak through late Sunday morning.
