The City of Port Arthur Parks and Recreation Department has announced its 19th Annual “Senior” Senior Prom will be held June 7 from 5 to 9 p.m. in the Amos J. Evans Gym/Multi-Purpose Building, located at 1308B 9th Avenue in Port Arthur.

The theme for this year’s prom is “Roaring 20’s” in the City by the Sea.

The City of Port Arthur is inviting all area seniors, 55 years of age or older, to come out and enjoy the gala event.

Guests will be entertained by a live band featuring local vocalists, treated to a delicious dinner and enjoy an evening culminating with the crowning of a prom king and queen.

There is no cost to attend this event.

“The prom is designed to provide an enjoyable evening activity for all who attend,” a City of Port Arthur release stated.

This will be a festive evening of dancing, fellowship and creating good memories for all who attend, organizers stress.
