Groves Police Department officers made the following arrests and responded to the following calls from July 31 to Aug. 6:

July 31

• Zeth Vaughn, 22, was arrested for assault and fail to identify in the 5200 block of Twin City Highway.

• No reports.

Aug. 2

• An information report was filed at the 2300 block of East Texas 73.

Aug. 3

• Jeremy McMains, 38, was arrested for wWarrants in the 2200 block of Post Oak.
• Jennifer Hedrick, 37, was arrested for warrants in the 6100 block of Gulfway Drive.
• Criminal mischief was reported in the 5200 block of East Parkway.
• Unauthorized use of a motor vehicle/recovery was reported in the 2200 block of Post Oak.
• Burglary of a habitation was reported in the 2200 block of Post Oak.
• An information report was filed at the 6600 block of Verde.

Aug. 4

• Alvaro Chavarria Morales, 45, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance in the 5500 block of East Parkway.
• Jacobi Jackson, 28, was arrested for warrants in the 5300 block of Gulfway Drive.
• Unauthorized use of a motor vehicle/recovery was reported in the 2600 block of Main.
• An assault was reported in the 5300 block of Gulfway Drive.

Aug. 5

• Melosha English, 38, was arrested for warrants in the 3200 block of Main.
• Barry Jones, 63, was arrested for assault in the 3100 block of Elm Street.
• Forgery financial instrument was reported in the 6000 block of 39^th Avenue.
• A theft was reported in the 2700 block of Royal Avenue.

Aug. 6

• A terroristic threat was reported in the 6200 block of Warren Street.
• An assault was reported in the 5100 block of North Street.
